Chuck, has been a runner for over 35 years. Chuck ran his first marathon in 1974 in Los Alamitos, California. A fun fact about Chuck: with an average of 20 miles per week for the past 35 years, totalling approximately 35,0000 miles of running, Chuck has run enough to circumvent the earth over 1.5 times. Chuck enjoys trail running and cycling. Some of his favorite races include the "Wharf to Wharf" run in Santa Cruz, California and the Portland Marathon in Portland, Oregon, where he ran his personal best at 3:12. Chuck has owned and operated Eclipse Running since 1994.

New Location, Same Philosophy
"I opened Eclipse Running in 1994 with one goal-- to make it a business I was proud to own. The first store was just 600 sq. ft and we only carried four brands of shoes. I wasn't a franchise and I didn't have retail experience. The only experience I had was a lifetime of running, and a passion to share my love of all things connected to running. Over the years, I have met many friends and customers who share this passion, from the local running groups with seasoned runners to the various teams training for races to the new enthusiastic runners or walkers. As the store grows, my goal has remained the same.
I am now hard at work on our new location at 3438 Lakeside Drive (northeast corner of Lakeside and Moana). Stop by to say hello if you are in the neighborhood.
